Low L2 gas is one part of the total. Compare the final receiving amount for the same ZK input.

Your wallet pays the network to send ZK. Standard Era transactions use ETH for gas; keep a small ETH balance on Era.

02 / Swap cost

The quote reflects the exchange rate, route liquidity and any service or trading fee. Review whether fees are included.

03 / Payout network

Receiving-chain costs and cross-chain routing can affect the net payout. A token symbol alone does not specify a network.

Why did my zkSync swap fail? (gas, approval, liquidity)

ZK balance, but insufficient gas

Check your ETH balance on zkSync Era. ETH on Ethereum mainnet does not pay for a standard Era transaction.

Swap pending after sending

Check the deposit hash, confirmation status and order network. For a confirmed deposit awaiting credit, send support the order ID and hash.

Quote expired or amount changed

Refresh the quote before paying. Compare the current minimum, expiry and net payout; a floating rate follows market conditions.

Where can I swap zkSync to ETH or stablecoins?

Open the dashboard to check ZK-to-ETH, ZK-to-USDC or ZK-to-USDT routes. Select an available pair and receiving network, then review the quote before sending ZK.

Do I need ETH to swap zkSync ZK?

For a standard ZK transfer on zkSync Era, keep ETH on Era to pay gas. Sponsored transactions can use a different fee arrangement; follow the fee shown by your wallet.

How long does it take to swap zkSync?

Allow for the ZK deposit to confirm, the service to process the order and the payout to confirm on its destination chain. Use the order’s delivery estimate to track the complete swap.

Can I swap zkSync to ETH on Ethereum mainnet?

Select ETH with Ethereum mainnet as the payout network when that route is offered. Receiving ETH on zkSync Era and receiving ETH on Ethereum mainnet are different destinations.
